The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs announced that for fiscal year 2017-18, DCA will invest $3 million in 258 nonprofit art organizations and festival producers to provide culturally vital events and programs to the public. According to the National Endowment for the Arts, for every $1 spent on the arts, $7 in local economic activity is generated. The City’s cultural commitment stimulates economic development that sustains our communities.
In addition, DCA is now accepting entries for the 2018-19 Cultural Grant Program. We offer webinars and in-person workshops to help organizations complete the application.
